So, today semester exams ended. I checked my grades for all of my exams and I am ecstatic about the grades. In language arts, I got a 90 on both my multiple choice section and essay. In math, I got a 92 on the multiple choice and a 100 on the essay portion. I got a 100 on my science exam. For Texas history, what I thought would be hard, I got a 96 on the exam. For athletics, everyone got a 100. Journalism, I got a 100. I worked so hard for that specific exam. We were supposed to write a story about the three Cleveland girls that were rescued last year, but we were supposed to write it for middle school students. Anyways I'm here at my house bored and tired, but I don't want to go to sleep. I was looking at this new website that I'm going to be using in my career portals class. It's called Tackk and, so far, is awesome. Basically, you make this website. I think it's so cool to use. Below are my favorite Tackks:

I really suggest you looking at these Tackks. Some of them are downright funny and others are educational. Though my favorite is the wrong answers to questions.

Semester Exams
There's only one time in the year that I absolutely dislike. Semester Exam Week. Those three words are horrible. I'm pretty for sure that everyone doesn't like semester exams. Even the people that don't like doing school work. Either way, semester exam week is dreadful. When we're not taking a test, we're studying for another. It's just study, study, test, study, study, study, test, and study. We do nothing but study. I know that some teachers don't like it. The two days that we have half days are full days for the teachers. The look on my math teacher Ms. Kerby was so funny. Another reason why semester exams suck is that it's about everything that you learn in the whole first semester of school. Nobody remembers that stuff. It's so funny to see people go at the last minute to study for a test. The bad thing, for me, is that I have to actually study. Even I don't remember some of the things that I learned this year. Today, I had my third and seventh period exams. That's science and math for me. They kind of balance each other because I don't like science, but I love math. I was so prepared for the math test, until my Ms. Kerby said that it was extremely hard and the previous period didn't even finish the test. Otherwise, I went from being super prepared for a test that I now felt that I will fail. We started the test today and I can completely agree with Ms. Kerby. We had a little over two hours to do the test. Halfway through the two hours, I was only on question 12. I knew then that there was absolutely no way that I would finish this test today. Tomorrow, I have Texas History and my Newspaper exam. I, specifically, am worried about my Texas History. Even though I practically grew up here, I'm still trying to get the history part down. The test is about the 5 regions of Texas, Native American cultures, Texas Exploration, Spanish Colonization, Mission System, Texas Revolution, and the Civil War. Basically, Texas before 1870. My only hope is that I get a some-what good grade on all exams.

Ender's Game
Earlier this week, my family and I got to watch Ender's Game. The movie was about Ender Wiggin being recruited into a International Military program to defeat the Formics, a alien race that nearly destroyed the human race years before. Throughout his time through the different schools, Ender is faced with choices and is called up to be trained as the commander of the fleet that will go and annihilate the Formics race before they can complete their unfinished job. This movie was a 5 out of 5 and for several reasons. I, for one, love science fiction and this movie was packed with science fiction. The movie had some sentimental parts. One being the part when Ender's sister Valentine convinced Ender to go back into the program after he quit. I would definitely go to see the second movie if it came out. I just hope they don't leave a big cliff hanger like this one.
