My B-Day!!!

Last Saturday was my 13th birthday. I had an awesome birthday. The whole day I got to spend with my mom and my sisters and watch movies. We watched the Internship. That movie was really funny. My favorite part of the movie would be when the young interns got the older guys to go to a college and talk to "Professor X." We ate pepperoni pizza and a cookies and cream ice cream cake. I got two jackets, a travel bag and $130 from my parents and a $25 Visa gift card from my cousins. I really loved my birthday, but I really can't wait till this weekend when I get to go SHOPPING!!!

Dad's B-Day Party

Last Saturday was my dad's 50th birthday party and it was awesome. My mom had spent over a month planning this party out. There were streamers, lanterns, banners, and balloons everywhere. Everything was black, silver, and gold. There were tons of families there too. We had people from our neighborhood and people from Dallas. They all came from everywhere. The other big part was the food. Oh the food was AMAZING! My mom made almost everything- with the exception of the Puerto Rican rice, cheese sauce, pizza rolls, and potato salad and even those were made by other people. My mom made BBQ pulled pork, brisket, chicken salad, coleslaw, and baked beans. Everything was delicious. The birthday cake my mom ordered was amazing. It had a picture of my dad on it and said 'Happy 50th Birthday.' All day Saturday was awesome and I would do anything to go back there instead of being at school, but as Robert Frost said, Life goes on.
